MCT Builders: New foundations

Welcome!

This blog has been set up by Nina & Guy, 59 Britannia Road, Norwich to document the work completed by Morris at MCT Builders, Norwich.

Morris was recommended by a friend who had worked with him on a number of house conversion jobs. We asked Morris to build an extension to the back of our Edwardian terraced house. We wanted the extension to include a new kitchen and dining area with sky lights in the roof to maximise light and bi-fold doors out to the back garden.

Morris met with us in December 2010 to discuss design ideas and layouts to maximise space, turning what was an underused part of the house into the main area for cooking and dining.

Morris completed the detailed technical drawings required for planing permission and Building Regulations. In addition Morris worked closely with Anglian Water to bring our outdated sewage system up to spec.

Morris project managed the entire build, and was very open and transparent about the costs of labour and materials.
